Arsenal will likely rotate heavily but remain incredibly strong with a significant level of depth within Mikel Arteta’s squad. Arteta has been a huge success at Arsenal and now he needs to turn the consistent dominance that the Gunners have enjoyed under his management into trophies. The League Cup serves as a really good opportunity on that front.
It won’t be easy against a Port Vale side who will give everything they have over the course of 90 minutes. However, Arsenal should eventually overwhelm them with their movement and possession, with goals expected to follow.
