Plymouth vs Barnsley prediction

Plymouth Argyle were officially confirmed to have been relegated on the final day of the season, despite the nigh-on heroics of Miron Muslic. Muslic then controversially departed for Schalke, and the Pilgrims have replaced the Bosnian boss with former Watford boss Tom Cleverley, who is dealing with the loss of several first-teamers.

They now face a Barnsley side that had been in the playoffs in successive seasons before a collapse into the middle-of-the-table last year, with supporters reasonably unhappy over the construction and dealing of their squad by the hierarchy. Former Tykes midfielder Conor Hourihane has been given the job at Oakwell on a permanent basis.

Barnsley have often been very entertaining to watch and that should continue with some of the talent they have, so this should be genuinely brilliant to watch for the neutral.

Plymouth vs Barnsley tip: Both teams to score
