Following their promotion to the top-flight of Italian football last season, Pisa remain winless but they are beginning to show signs of improvement under the management of former Genoa boss and 2006 FIFA World Cup winner Alberto Gilardino.
The Tuscans come into this one on the back of backing up their 2-2 draw at San Siro against AC Milan by sharing a couple of other draws against in-form opposition; at home to Lazio and then away to Torino.

Following the appointment of Davide Nicola upon their ascension to Serie A over the summer, Cremonese embarked upon a very busy summer transfer window and they have suffered just two defeats in their opening ten matches of the campaign.
