Perth Glory vs Newcastle Jets prediction

Perth Glory are coming off the back of recording four points from their last couple of A-League fixtures but they’ll need to be at their very best to get anything from this one as the table toppers travel to Western Australia in scintillating form. Six consecutive wins has led to Newcastle Jets establishing themselves at the summit of the A-League table and with by far and away the most potent offense in the division, it’s easy to see why.

Outscoring the Jets is a massive challenge when you factor in how often they find the net and 11 goals scored across their most recent three fixtures put into perspective the strength of their attacking play. However, Perth are another team impressing when pushing players forward of late, scoring twice in a win over Auckland FC and a 2-2 draw away at Macarthur. They may well fight fire-with-fire offensively, leading to an open battle. Backing over 3.5 goals may be a shrewd move.

Perth Glory vs Newcastle Jets tip: Over 3.5 goals
