Parma preview: Need to bounce back

Parma come into this one on the back of being thumped 4-0 by Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo last weekend. The Bergamasci, who are in indifferent form at the moment, ran riot against an improving Parma side with goals from Gianluca Scamacca, Marten de Roon, Giacomo Raspadori and Nikola Krstovic.

The home team begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting six points clear of the bottom three and the relegation places. They had been in improving form under Carlos Cuesta prior to that hammering against Atalanta, having suffered just one defeat in their previous six matches.

Juventus preview: Impressive Bianconeri

Juventus come into this one on the back of a steady performance as they shared a goalless draw with Monaco at Stade Louis II in the principality last weekend. The Bianconeri have suffered just one defeat in their last 13 matches across all competitions as they push for the top four and even to get involved in the Serie A title race.

Juventus’ most recent outing in the league saw them dispatch of defending champions Napoli by three goals to nil at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, courtesy of goals scored by Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz and Filip Kostic. They are beginning to find their fluency under Luciano Spalletti.

Parma team news: Quartet of injuries

Parma are dealing with a quartet of injury issues ahead of the visit of Juventus as Zion Suzuki is sidelined alongside Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Lautaro Valenti and Matija Frigan.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Corvi; Circati, Drobnic, Troilo; Del Prato, Adrian Bernabe, Keita, Sorensen, Britschgi; Benedyczak, Nahuel Estevez

Unavailable: Suzuki (Injured), Ndiaye (Injured), Valenti (Injured), Frigan (Injured)

Questionable:

Juventus team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for Juventus to deal with and they will be able to name an unchanged eleven for their trip to Emilio-Romagna.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Bremer, Kelly, Cambiaso; Thuram, Locatelli; Conceicao, McKennie, Yildiz; David

Unavailable: Vlahovic (Injured)

Questionable: Rugani (Injured), Milik (Injured)

Parma vs Juventus prediction
In those aforementioned six matches in which Parma had shown signs of improvement, they had scored just four goals. They have been one of the duller teams to watch in the Italian top-flight with their 22 matches having consisted of just 40 goals. Juve are beginning to find some fluency in the final third but it isn’t consistent so while they are still favourites for this one, it is expected to be a low-scoring affair at the Ennio Tardini.

Parma vs Juventus tip: Juventus to win & under 3.5 goals
