Paris preview: New era for poor Paris
Paris FC have taken the decision to part company with the manager that got them promotion out of Ligue 2 last season, with former Paris Saint-Germain boss Antoine Kombouare replacing Stephane Gilli in the dugout.
Kombouare has been seen as a fire fighter in French football for a few years, having recently performed that role with Nantes. It isn’t yet a drastic situation for the wealthy Parisians but they could really do with finding some form.
Nice preview: Neglected Nice
INEOS have made it clear that they have no time nor energy nor desire to work on Nice as a football club and that has left the southerners with little identity or direction, despite the best efforts of those still remaining at the club.
They come into this one on the back of a 3-3 draw with Lorient at the Allianz Riviera last weekend, which was a continuation of improved and spirited performances that have led to just three defeats in their last 12 matches across all competitions.
Paris team news: Nothing fresh
There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for the Parisians to deal with this weekend as Samir Chergui is sidelined alongside both Ham Traore and Pierre-Yves Hamel.
Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Trapp; Coppola, Mbow, Otavio; Gory, Lees-Melou, Munetsi, Sangui; Kebbal, Ikone; Immobile
Unavailable: Chergui (Injured), Traore (Injured), Hamel (Injured)

Nice team news: Defensive injuries
Nice have several defensive injury issues for their trip to the capital city, such as Canada international Moise Bombito, as well as both Youssouf Ndayishimiye and Mohamed Abdelmonem.
Predicted XI (3-4-3): Dupe; Abdi, Dante, Louchet; Peprah Oppong, Sanson, Vanhoutte, Mendy; Cho, Kevin Carlos, Diop
Unavailable: Moise Bombito (Injured), Ndayishimiye (Injured), Abdelmonem (Injured), Jansson (Injured), Wahi (Injured)

Paris vs Nice prediction
That aforementioned improvement from the visitors came off the back of a record-breakingly bad run of form and was very much needed. Paris will seek to take the game to their opposition with the so-called hope of a ‘new manager bounce’, as well as their home advantage, but the visitors may not actually be a team to be walked over right now and so both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one.
