Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain have the Trophee des Champions in midweek to build on the silverware that they won in 2025, which included that competition as well as Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, which they won last month.
They face a Paris FC side that, following promotion to the top-flight last season, flexed their hefty financial muscle in the summer transfer window as they tried to push into the top-half of the table, rather than just survive. However, as the autumn went on and winter began, they became fairly ineffective.
Paris will head across the road, literally, and believe they can cause PSG some issues in an intriguing affair at the Parc des Princes but the hosts remain favourites.
