Paris Saint-Germain vs Botafogo prediction

After their simply sublime treble-winning season, Luis Enrique’s side began their hunt for a first ever FIFA trophy by hammering Atletico Madrid by four goals to nil at the Rose Bowl last week. Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha scored in the first-half before goals from Senny Mayulu and Lee Kang-in sealed the victory late on after Clement Lenglet’s red card.

Botafogo began their 2025 FIFA Club World Cup group stage campaign with a 2-1 defeat of the Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field in Seattle the other day. Centre-back Jair Cunha opened the scoring before Nottingham Forest-linked striker Igor Jesus made it 2-0 before the break, with Cristian Roldan pulling a goal back in the second-half for Seattle.

Botafogo have enjoyed an impressive few months in terms of their form but this is now a major step up and PSG are expected to seal knockout qualification with another win.
