A late Jean-Philippe Krasso earned Paris FC a point at Nice last time out, and the promoted side are occupying a very respectable 11th place in the Ligue 1 table ahead of this fixture.
The unpredictable Lorient, who also recently came up from Ligue 2, produced their best result since promotion by beating UEFA Champions League participants Monaco 3-1 at home last week, with Pablo Pagis scoring a brace at Stade du Moustoir.
You never know quite what to expect from these two, but goals are usually on the menu. Paris FC were 3-2 victors in their last meeting in March, back when both sides were in the second tier of French football, and another high-scoring game could occur here.
