Paris FC vs Benfica prediction

Matchday 3 was a heartbreaker for Paris FC, who looked for all the world like they were coming away from their clash with Real Madrid in Spain with a famous victory, only for Caroline Weir to score a last-gasp equaliser for the hosts.

That is the second time in three matchdays that they have had to settle for a draw after leading, and those precious dropped points could well cost them when it comes to qualifying for the latter stages of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Benfica were leading against Twente themselves last week, but also were also pegged back for a draw, leaving them on just one point from their three league phase games to date.

The Portuguese side will perhaps feel hard done by given their scant return for some creditable performances though, and head coach Ivan Baptista will be urging his players to be more clinical in this crucial Matchday 4 fixture.

Both sides will believe they can win this one, and that could create an open affair that sees goals at both ends.

Paris FC vs Benfica tip: Both teams to score
