Paraguay vs Uruguay Prediction
The Paraguayans begin the 15th match day of the 18-game CONMEBOL qualification campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup sitting fifth in the table, six points clear of seventh placed Venezuela, who occupy the intercontinental playoff place. Their 2-2 draw with Colombia in March means that they are now unbeaten in their last eight qualifiers.
Uruguay, on the other hand, started their campaign very well under the aforementioned Bielsa but have dipped of late with a frustrating goalless draw against Bolivia in the high altitude of La Paz a couple of months ago meaning that they have now managed just one victory inside 90 minutes in their last 12 matches.
Paraguay haven’t lost since getting knocked out in the group stages of last summer’s CONMEBOL Copa America and siding with them at home against an out-of-sorts Uruguayan side would seem the way to go for this one.
Paraguay vs Uruguay Tip: Double chance – Paraguay to win or draw
