Papua New Guinea vs New Caledonia prediction

In that qualifying campaign, Papua New Guinea finished rock-bottom in Group A, collecting just a point from their three group stage matches. They shared a thrilling 3-3 draw with Fiji, either side of defeats against the Solomon Islands and upcoming opponents, New Caledonia.

The New Caledonians won that group before suffering a 3-0 defeat to New Zealand, in a game in which they had managed to keep it goalless until the second-half. The New Zealanders took the one guaranteed Oceanian qualifying spot but they must now prepare for the intercontinental playoffs in March.

Papua New Guinea do not play enough football to improve and naturally lack a lot of quality with New Caledonia expected to ease to a friendly victory here.
