  • Panama are unbeaten in their last eight World Cup qualifying matches with six wins and two draws.
  • Panama have kept six clean sheets in their last eight World Cup qualifying matches.
  • Suriname are unbeaten in their last seven World Cup qualifying matches (W4 D3).

Panama vs Suriname prediction

Panama come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 win over El Salvador at the Estadio Cuscatlan thanks to a 55th minute strike from Jose Fajardo. The Panamanians have perhaps an even better squad, both with depth and quality, than the one that qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

They now face a Suriname side that have started with a victory and two draws in their opening three matches of the third round of CONCACAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Surinamese most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Guatemala at the Dr. Franklin Essed Stadium, courtesy of a second-half stoppage-time equaliser.

Suriname and Panama have started with the same record thus far, but the Panamanians would have to be viewed as the firm favourites for this one with home advantage.

Panama vs Suriname tip: Panama to win & under 3.5 goals
