The first-leg of this UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie saw Salzburg edge to a 1-0 victory at the Red Bull Arena, with Bosnia-Herzegovina international striker Haris Tabakovic scoring a late winner for the Austrians.
Following the appointment of former Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday boss, Salzburg would expect to reclaim the Austrian Bundesliga title this season after finishing second and then third in the last couple of years. Pafos lost their second qualifying round first-leg by two goals to nil against Hajduk Split before coming from behind to win in extra-time.
That will give Pafos immense confidence and hope here, and it wouldn't be a shock to see the Cypriot at least make Salzburg sweat in this second-leg.
