After producing an excellent qualifying campaign in the UEFA Champions League, which included a two-legged playoff victory over Crvena Zvezda, Pafos started their first ever league phase season with a reasonable performance as they held Greek champions Olympiacos to a goalless draw in Piraeus a fortnight ago.
Bayern Munich have been excellent at the start of this season as Vincent Kompany’s Bavarians seek to defend the Bundesliga title and also push on in Europe once again. They got their UEFA Champions League campaign off to an excellent start with a 3-1 victory over Chelsea at the Allianz Arena a couple of weeks ago.
Bayern Munich will head to Cyprus aware of the spirit that Pafos possess, especially with their home advantage, but Bayern should win this one quite comfortably.
