Oxford vs Derby prediction

Oxford United have managed just one victory in their nine matches so far this season as they begin this weekend’s round of fixtures in the bottom three and the relegation places. The home team did take the lead in their most recent outing against Watford before succumbing to a 2-1 loss at the Vicarage Road a couple of weeks ago.

They now face a Derby County side that have also managed just one win so far, but their performance level has been higher than that under the management of John Eustace. The Rams were held to a 1-1 draw against Southampton at Pride Park, which was a third successive 1-1 draw for the visitors.

These are two sides that are low-scoring and defensive teams that have struggled for goals and wins thus far, and so under 2.5 goals would appear likely for this one.

Oxford vs Derby tip: Under 2.5 goals
