Osasuna preview: In the race for Europe

Osasuna head into this one now under the management of former Mirandes coach Alessio Lisci and they begin this weekend's round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top-half of the table and hunting European qualification from La Liga.

The home team come into this one on the back of a slender but controversial 1-0 loss to Valencia at Mestalla, ending what was a six-match unbeaten run of form in Spain's top-flight over the last couple of months.

Real Mallorca preview: New look Majorcans

Real Mallorca come into this one on the back of beginning the post-Jago Arrasate era with a very limp performance as they succumbed to an underwhelming 1-0 loss at home to Real Sociedad in the Balearic Islands.

The Majorcans have now appointed former Bayern Munich and Manchester City centre-back Martin Demichelis as their new manager with the Argentine having done good jobs with both River Plate and then Monterrey.

Osasuna team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns for Osasuna to deal with, with Cameroonian international centre-back Enzo Boyomo returning from suspension.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sergio Herrera; Rosier, Alejandro Catena, Jorge Herrando, Javi Galan; Jon Moncayola, Lucas Torro; Raul Garcia, Victor Munoz, Raul Moro; Budimir

Unavailable: Iker Benito (Injured)

Questionable:

Real Mallorca team news: No Javi Llabres

Marash Kumbulla and Takuma Asano are working their way back to full fitness but young, versatile attacker Javi Llabres is now unavailable due to a quadriceps issue.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Leo Roman; Pablo Maffeo, Valjent, Antonio Raillo, Johan Mojica; Sergi Darder, Omar Mascarell, Costa; Mateo Joseph, Muriqi, Jan Virgili

Unavailable: Jan Salas (Injured), Javi Llabres (Injured)

Questionable: Kumbulla (Injured), Asano (Injured)

Osasuna vs Real Mallorca prediction

Aside from the Bayern Munich II side, Demichelis is managing in Europe for the first time and so the jury has to remain out but he has said the right things ahead of this weekend. Osasuna are a strong team and have a good attack but the one thing Mallorca must surely begin to give is a bit of fight in the final third and so both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one.

Osasuna vs Real Mallorca tip: Both teams to score
