Omonia Nicosia come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering of Paralimni in the Cypriot First Division at the weekend. That means they have now won nine of their last ten matches across all competitions.
They now face a Rijeka side that, despite toppling Dinamo Zagreb at the summit of Croatian football last season, still managed to slip into a lower UEFA competition. They will believe, though, that they can go deep in the UECL.
