Omonia Nicosia made a bright start to their Conference League campaign the beating Icelandic team Vikingur 4-0 in their opening match of the league phase. They have since however lost their last three matches without scoring a goal and they are under some pressure to get a much-needed result here.

They welcome Austrian giants Rapid Vienna to the Cypriot capital and what will be an incredibly tough assignment for them. Rapid are unbeaten in the league phase so far having won three and drawn one of their four matches to date.

Rapid’s form in all competitions has been a little flat of late but they will know a victory here will give them a great chance of finishing in the top eight positions.
