Omonia Nicosia dispatched of Araz-Naxcivan in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round tie at the Dalga Arena in Azerbaijan last week. In that game, Omonia ran riot with a first-half brace scored by Loizos Loizou, before second-half goals from Montenegro international Stevan Jovetic, as well as Ewandro.

Omonia hammered Georgian side Torpedo Kutaisi by five goal to nil on aggregate in the second qualifying round, as they seek to build on the improvement of Cypriot clubs in recent years. Araz-Naxcivan are currently playing in their first ever European campaign.

Omonia Nicosia will be expected to comfortably hammer Araz-Naxcivan and complete a two-legged rout as they try and push through to another UEFA league phase.
