Reigning Conference League champions Olympiakos are looking to make it five league phase games unbeaten in the Europa League as they take on Dutch side Twente.

Olympiakos vs Twente Prediction

When taking into account that Twente have picked up just one point from the last nine available to them, most recently losing at home to Union Saint-Gilloise, Olympiakos must be seeing this as a big opportunity to potentially move into the top eight depending on other results. Avoiding defeat here would also extend Olympiakos’ current unbeaten streak to ten games in all competitions.

Expect the hosts to try and impose themselves and Twente early on and look to dominate the match by gaining the majority of possession and pinning their opponents with a view to breaking them down as early as possible. Twente won’t make it easy for them though and could pose a significant threat on the counter-attack.

However, momentum is a powerful tool and Olympiakos have it on their side right now. It would be a big surprise if they were not to find the net at least once against Twente on their own ground and assuming they concede first, it would prove very tough for the visiting side to come back. The sensible play here would be to back a home victory.

Olympiakos vs Twente Tip: Olympiakos to win
