Oldham vs Swindon prediction

Having gained promotion to League Two via the playoffs under the management of Mickey Mellon, Oldham Athletic have embarked upon a busy summer. The Latics began their season with a steady performance in a goalless draw away to Milton Keynes Dons, before they then shared a 1-1 draw with Colchester United in Oldham last weekend.

Ian Holloway’s Swindon Town were brilliant last year and they have begun well again. Their performance was strong in a 2-1 loss to Walsall on the opening day of the campaign, before they then came from behind to defeat Cambridge United at the County Ground, with the Robins expecting to mount a promotion push this season.

Oldham have been solid, and Swindon have been fun. Swindon will fancy themselves here, though, as they seek to draw out an Oldham side more akin with defending.

Oldham vs Swindon tip: Double chance – Swindon to win or draw
