Nottingham Forest vs Luton Prediction

Nottingham Forest will fancy their chances of genuinely being involved in the Premier League title race this season as they continue a magnificent campaign. They take on a Luton Town side that are in danger of back-to-back relegations down to League One.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side may well be distracted by the fact they face league leaders Liverpool at the City Ground in midweek but the mood is very good in Nottingham. They hammered Wolverhampton Wanderers by three goals to nil at Molineux last weekend to mean they have now enjoyed six matches in the Premier League.

Rob Edwards led Luton Town to a remarkable promotion to the top-flight but he is now under pressure at Kenilworth Road with the Hatters hovering just above the bottom three and the relegation places. The visitors come into this one on the back of a 2-1 loss to Queens Park Rangers last weekend, which has extended their losing streak to four matches.

Luton went down on the final day of last season finishing behind 17th placed Forest. It is a very different situation now, though, with Forest the overwhelming favourites at the City Ground.
