Nottingham Forest could overtake eighth placed outfit Real Betis but there are seven teams in between themselves and the Andalusians, and the playoffs are likely. They did manage to earn themselves a much-needed defeat of Brentford in the relegation battle at the Gtech Community Stadium the other day.

They now face a Ferencvaros side that, under the management of Robbie Keane, are indeed tucked inside the top eight with a brilliant European campaign in which they have avoided defeat after seven matches. The Hungarians shared a 1-1 draw with Rafa Benitez’ Panathinaikos in Budapest last week.
