Nottingham Forest vs Fenerbahce prediction

In what was Vitor Pereira’s first game in charge of Nottingham Forest, the Premier League strugglers hammered Fenerbahce by three goals to nil in Istanbul in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League knockout playoff round tie last week, courtesy of goals from Murillo, Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus.

Forest have since succumbed to a slender 1-0 loss at home to Liverpool with a controversial last gasp winner at the City Ground, leaving the hosts just above the danger zone. Fener, on the other hand, closed the gap on Galatasaray at the top-of-the-table in the Turkish Super Lig with a dramatic but frustrating 1-1 draw with Kasimpasa.

Fenerbahce will believe that they can take advantage of any sort of complacency from Forest but the hosts have to remain favourites for this second-leg based on last week’s showing.
