Norway vs New Zealand prediction

Stale Solbakken’s star-studded Norway annihilated Israel by five goals to nil the other day with Erling Braut Haaland notching yet another international hat-trick. The Norwegians have such an impressive goal difference in their qualifying group that even a defeat to Italy is unlikely to deny them qualification for next summer.

New Zealand have taken advantage of the expanded 48-team tournament to have already booked their spot in North America. The All Whites have spent the last six months or so attempting to try and build a competitive style for next summer. They most recently suffered a slender 1-0 loss to Poland in Chorzow the other day.

It isn’t just Haaland for Norway and so, if he is rested and rotated, the likes of Jorgen Strand Larsen and Alexander Sorloth could step up so a heavy home win is to be expected.

Norway vs New Zealand tip: Norway to win -1 handicap
