North Queensland Cowboys will be focused on the playoffs rather than this final regular season game, but at the same time momentum is important and they won’t want to go into the business end of the year on the back of a loss. Canberra Raiders are their opponents and they have little to play for but pride with their season ending following this match.
Whilst the Cowboys are likely to be favourites, the value play may well be with Canberra. The reality is that North Queensland will clearly have an eye on their next assignment and it won’t be no surprise if they did not play at 100% here. Therefore, backing the Raiders should be seriously considered at least.
