Nice vs Lorient prediction

Following losing manager Franck Haise to Stade Rennais, Nice, who have been neglected for years by ownership group INEOS, lost 2-0 away at Olympique Lyonnais the other day, leaving them drifting towards the bottom three and the danger zone in Ligue 1 this year.

They now face a Lorient side that, having gained promotion last season, have been very impressive as they sit tucked inside the top-half of the table and chasing European qualification. They managed to defeat Angers by two goals to nil last week, courtesy of goals from Pablo Pagis and Jean-Victor Makengo.

That means they have now enjoyed of just one defeat in 14 matches across all competitions and they would have to be the team to be favoured here.

Nice vs Lorient tip: Double chance – Lorient to win or draw
