Nice vs Benfica prediction

Coached by former Lens boss Franck Haise, Nice finished last season extremely well as they managed to finish fourth in Ligue 1. They have brought in some intriguing additions over the summer, such as Juma Bah on loan from Manchester City, as well as permanent signings Yehvann Diouf, Isak Jansson and Koko Peprah Oppong.

They now face a Benfica side that will be hoping to take advantage of a possible summer of transition at fellow Lisbon giants Sporting CP this season to rise back to the top of Portuguese football. They began their competitive season with a defeat of Sporting at the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira at the end of July.

Benfica have some entertaining and attacking players, whilst Nice may be a little slower off the mark, so siding with the Portuguese at the Allianz Riviera seems good value.

Nice vs Benfica tip: Double chance – Benfica to win or draw
