Newcastle vs Fulham prediction

Both these two teams come into this match extremely motivated for different reasons. Following a desperately disappointing 1-0 defeat in the ‘Tyne-Wear Derby’ against Sunderland, Newcastle are aiming to restore some confidence and belief among the fanbase and continue their quest to retain the League Cup which they won last season.

But Fulham have always done well in cup competitions under Marco Silva, going deep but without managing to make it all the way to the end. They will prove tricky opposition here and won’t be easy for Newcastle to break down. Don’t expect the two teams to give much away over the course of 90 minutes and backing the tie to see under 2.5 goals scored warrants serious consideration.

Newcastle vs Fulham tip: Under 2.5 goals
