Newcastle vs Bradford City prediction

Whilst it won’t be easy for Newcastle to balance their multiple commitments this season, with the League Cup between sandwiched between the Premier League and Champions League. But Eddie Howe always seems to find a way of making things work, so don’t expect Newcastle to put in a lacklustre defence of their first major trophy won in a generation. However, they welcome a red-hot Bradford City side full to the brim with confidence and sitting pretty at the top of League One despite being a newly promoted club.

Newcastle are such a strong team defensively, but Bradford certainly won’t roll over and should prove difficult to break down themselves. Momentum can be very powerful for a squad and this Bantams side have it in spades thanks to their brilliant start back in the third tier. With that in mind, backing under 2.5 goals scored warrants serious consideration.

Newcastle vs Bradford City tip: Under 2.5 goals
