Newcastle Jets vs Western Sydney Wanderers prediction

The Newcastle Jets come into this one on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Sydney in New South Wales in their most recent outing at the Allianz Stadium last weekend in a game in which they did lead 2-0 after 22 minutes. The home team have now managed just one victory in their last five matches following that aforementioned previously good run of form.

They now face a Western Sydney Wanderers side that have been entertaining to watch throughout the 2024/25 A League campaign with WSW’s 24 matches consisting of 93 goals. The visitors shared a 2-2 draw with Melbourne City last weekend to extend their current unbeaten run of form to ten matches.

Both of these sides have enjoyed an improved couple of months and they have done so in quite entertaining fashion so another good game for the neutral would appear likely in Newcastle.

Newcastle Jets vs Western Sydney Wanderers tip: Over 2.5 goals
