Newcastle Jets vs Macarthur prediction

Macarthur fought valiantly to secure a battling 1-1 draw away at Melbourne City last time out and have little time to recover before diving back into A-League action here, once again on the road. The big question really is whether their players will be able to operate at peak physical level when taking into account the short turnaround between games, not to mention any disruption to the team’s preparation caused by Christmas.

Newcastle Jets are coming off the back of consecutive wins, including a statement 2-0 triumph at home to high-flying Sydney FC last time out. Momentum is high among the Jets camp and they’ve had the benefit of three extra days rest compared to their opponents. With that in mind, back a home victory for Mark Milligan’s men.
