New Zealand vs Tonga prediction

New Zealand got the better of Samoa in a close contest to open up the Pacific Cup, winning 24-18 with two tries from Casey McLean. Jamayne Isaako kicked excellently and in the end, New Zealand just had too much for a tough Samoan outfit, who went on to beat Tonga 6-34 in their second match a week later.

With that in mind, you would expect New Zealand to also enjoy a more comfortable outing against Kristian Woolf’s side. Whilst Woolf is a fantastic coach, New Zealand have the superior squad and across 80 minutes that should be reflected in this match, especially with home advantage in the Kiwi’s favour. Therefore, back a home victory.
