New Zealand vs Austria prediction

Austria have set the pace in Group L and now look well set to finish top of it following wins over Saudi Arabia and Mali. They have not conceded a goal but in contrast are average two goals per match themselves. New Zealand on the other hand, cannot stop leaking goals with their 3-2 loss against Saudi Arabia becoming the second group game in which they’ve given up three goals to their opponents.

When you factor in a lack of confidence and the defenders of New Zealand looking very much out of their depth in this competition, opponents Austria are certainly best-placed to capitalise. They’ll likely create plenty of chances against that New Zealand backline whilst their own defence shuts things down at the other end of the field. Back Austria to win this by at least two clear goals

New Zealand vs Austria tip: Austria to win with -1 handicap
