New Zealand vs Australia prediction
New Zealand are still licking their wounds after suffering their biggest ever defeat two weeks ago, with world champions South Africa condemning them to a 43-10 loss in Wellington.
The All Blacks had beaten the same opponents a week earlier but they had no answer to a much-improved Springboks, and they now sit third in the standings heading into the penultimate round of fixtures.
Currently topping the Rugby Championship table, Australia almost produced a sensational comeback against Argentina last time out, recovering from 28-7 down to ultimately lose 28-26.
Ill-discipline is what put them in such a difficult position in the first place, but the reality is that the Wallabies are a far better side than that which lost five out of six games in last year's Rugby Championship.
Some wet weather is forecast for Auckland on the weekend and that will offer Australia some hope. However, New Zealand's record at Eden Park cannot be discounted and we're backing the All Blacks to clinch this one in a stadium they haven't lost in since 1994.
