Netherlands have struggled significantly in this tournament down the years and 2025 looks like being another disappointing European Championships campaign for their u21s side. A 2-2 draw with Finland was followed up by a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Denmark, leaving Netherlands on the brink of group stage elimination.
Ukraine knows that a point would be enough for them to finish second-place in Group D and also know that if they maintain the cutting edge going forward that has seen them score twice in both their group games so far, then they will be well-placed and against a Dutch side who have conceded twice in two matches, that’s a big possibility.
