Napoli vs Como prediction

Antonio Conte against Cesc Fabregas makes for an exciting coaching duel with a place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals at stake. The last time these two clubs faced off they couldn’t be separated with Napoli and Como playing out a 0-0 draw in Serie A last November. Now back at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, they meet again but this time the jeopardy is far higher with it being a cup game.

Despite the recent success both teams have enjoyed from an attacking perspective, it would be no surprise if the pair cancelled each other out in a bid to disrupt the tempo of proceedings. Como being the away side cannot play reckless, knowing that Napoli could punish them. But the hosts under Conte will be well aware of Como’s recent offensive explosion in the league, so will look to retain possession and snuff out any momentum. Backing under 2.5 goals in 90 minutes is a play worth making regardless of who advances.

Napoli vs Como tip: Under 2.5 goals
