Nantes have a chance to push themselves away from the bottom three and the danger zone as they welcome an out of form Toulouse side to the Stade de la Beaujoire this weekend.

Kick-off date/time: Sunday 27th April, 2025: UK – 4:15pm / US ET – 11:15am / US PT – 8:15am

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – beIN Sports

Nantes Preview: Solid point

In his second stint in charge of the club, Antoine Kombouare has his Nantes side beginning the 31st match day of the 2024/25 Ligue 1 campaign sitting four points above the bottom three and the danger zone with 12 points to play for.

The Canaries’ inconsistent form continued in midweek with a more than creditable 1-1 draw with champions and unbeaten Paris Saint-Germain at Stade de la Beaujoire in midweek due to an 83rd minute equaliser scored by Douglas Augusto.

Toulouse Preview: On the beach

Managed by Spanish coach Carlos Martinez Novell, Toulouse have been easy on the eye to watch in Ligue 1 in the last few seasons but, once again, they have been restricted by inconsistency that leaves them sitting firmly in the middle-of-the-table.

Toulouse’ form has collapsed in the last couple of months, though, with their 1-0 defeat to Stade de Reims in their most recent outing last weekend meaning they have now suffered five successive defeats in Ligue 1.

Nantes vs Toulouse Prediction

Nantes’ 1-1 draw with PSG represents a crucial point and result for Nantes in their battle against the drop. They do appear quite focused at the moment, despite the major off-field protests against the players throughout the campaign. They now face a Toulouse side that have been ‘on the beach’ so to speak for quite a while now and a focused Nantes side, with their home advantage, would have to be viewed as favourites for this one.

Nantes vs Toulouse Tip: Double chance – Nantes to win or draw
