Nantes vs Angers prediction

Nantes come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 loss to Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy last weekend, meaning they remain tucked inside the bottom two and the automatic relegation places ahead of this weekend's round of fixtures in France's top-flight, having circled the drain for a while now.

Angers, though, have done well since their promotion back to Ligue 1 in 2024 and they once again appear firmly ensconced in the middle-of-the-table, albeit the visitors are under a bit more pressure, though, as they head into this weekend on the back of three successive losses under Alexandre Dujeux.

This is expected to be an attritional affair between two of the more low-scoring and defensive teams - who are now both lacking form and confidence, too.

Nantes vs Angers tip: Under 2.5 goals
