Data is current up to and including the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League final
No footballer has ever scored a hat-trick in a men’s UEFA Champions League final, with eight players having found the net twice. Two of those players are strikers notorious for their goalscoring exploits with Inter Milan, Hernan Crespo and Diego Milito.
However, Crespo’s UEFA Champions League final brace came whilst playing for Inter’s local rivals AC Milan back in 2005; a final more commonly remembered for Liverpool’s comeback from three goals down to win on penalties in Istanbul.
Fellow Argentinian forward Milito scored his two UEFA Champions League final goals in 2010 for an Inter side managed by Jose Mourinho. A 2-0 win over German giants Bayern Munich completed a historic treble for the Nerazzurri.
Three of those two-goal final scorers have come from players representing AC Milan at the time, those being Crespo, Daniele Massaro and most recently Filippo Inzaghi in 2007.
Of the eight players to score two goals in a single UEFA Champions League final, only two are still playing as of May 2025, one being Cristiano Ronaldo, whose two goals for Real Madrid in the 2016-17 final saw Los Blancos defeat Juventus 4-1.
The other active player is Paris Saint Germain's Désiré Doué, who was 21 years younger than Ronaldo when he scored two Champions League final goals on May 31st 2025 as Paris defeated Inter by five goals to nil.
