Morocco vs South Korea prediction

Morocco were beaten 1-0 by Mexico in their final match of the group stage but having already secured six points following wins over Spain and Brazil, knockout stage qualification had long been assured. Now they gear up for the business end of the tournament with South Korea their opponents after a crucial 1-2 win against Panama saw them through.

Despite their progression, South Korea are understandably seen as one of the weaker sides in the round of 16. They picked up just four points in Group B and scored just three goals in the process. Such a lack of cutting edge won’t wash against a side of Morocco’s ability and when assessing both squads, the Atlas Lions appears to be the stronger group. Therefore, back Morocco to make it through to the quarter-finals in 90 minutes.

Morocco vs South Korea tip: Morocco to win
