Morocco vs Brazil prediction

Both these two nations have enjoyed penalty success so far in this competition. Each advanced through to the round of 16 via a shootout, Morocco defeating USA whilst Brazil overcame Paraguay. The following round saw Brazil draw again in a high-profile encounter against France, leading to another penalty shootout in which they prevailed once more. Morocco meanwhile, edged out Mali by three goals to two in a breathless battle.

This quarter-final is unlikely to see the number of goals that we saw in Morocco’s last game. Brazil’s backline is significantly tighter but they have struggled in front of goal lately. Morocco won’t want to take any undue risks vs the Brazilians and should improve defensively as a result. In what is set to be another close one, back under 2.5 goals to be scored over the course of 90 minutes.

Morocco vs Brazil tip: Under 2.5 goals
