Montserrat vs Belize prediction
Montserrat are coached by former Newcastle United and Birmingham City midfielder Lee Bowyer with former Charlton Athletic striker Lyle Taylor as captain. They are currently ranked 180th in the world as they come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to El Salvador in a friendly back in the November international break.
Belize are ranked one place higher by FIFA, sitting 179th in the world. They enjoyed a remarkable five-match winning streak in 2024 thanks to wins against Anguilla, the Turks and Caicos Islands and French Guiana. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 6-1 loss to Costa Rica, though, suffering a 13-1 aggregate defeat to the Costa Ricans.
Montserrat will be expected to improve as time goes on under Bowyer and Belize appear to be one of the more open minnows in international football so both teams scoring may well be a good bet.
