Monterrey vs Cruz Azul prediction
Nicolas Sanchez has arrived on an interim basis in charge of Monterrey, following the departure of Domenec Torrent earlier this month. Monterrey are a strong side in terms of their personnel but they have suffered three defeats in their last four matches.
Cruz Azul defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps in the final of the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 2025 and they will be keen to defend their title, once again a strong side with eight victories and a draw in ten Liga MX Clausura matches this season.
A part of that good form from Cruz Azul saw them defeat Monterrey away from home by two goals to nil a couple of weeks ago ad siding with the visitors is again the way to go for this one.
