Monaco vs Lyon prediction

Former Royale Union Saint-Gilloise manager Sebastian Pocognoli has experienced a mixed start to life as Monaco boss. The Monegasque went into the break in shocking form, though, with a 1-0 loss to Olympique de Marseille making it four defeats in their last five Ligue 1 matches.

Olympique Lyonnais, with former Lille boss Paulo Fonseca at the helm, return to action sitting just outside of the top four in Ligue 1. Lyon headed into the break on the back of backing up a win over Le Havre by easing to a comfortable 3-0 win against Saint-Cyr Collonges in the Coupe de France.

Lyon have been very controlled in their style and they are difficult to beat so, given the form of the hosts before the break, siding with Luon would appear a good bet for this one.

Monaco vs Lyon tip: Double chance – Lyon to win or draw
