Molde have struggled in their opening five matches of the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League with just one win thus far as they challenge for a top 24 finish with a game against Mlada Boleslav in Norway this week.

Molde vs Mlada Boleslav Prediction

In a game that is expected to be played in heavy rain with very cold temperatures, Molde are looking to save some face after a disappointing few months both domestically and on the continent.

The Norwegians ended up missing out on the top four in the 2024 Eliteserien and are outside of the top 24 in the UEFA Europa Conference League. They shared a 2-2 draw with HJK Helsinki in the Finnish capital last week when they led 1-0 and 2-1 before conceding in second-half stoppage-time.

They now face a Mlada Boleslav side that have scored just four goals in their five UECL games but they have collected two victories from their opening five matches. They have earned back-to-back wins by a 1-0 and 2-1 margin respectively against Jagiellonia Bialystok and Real Betis respectively.

With Molde’s indifferent form throughout this campaign, it is expected to be a low-scoring affair against a Mlada Boleslav side that have been effective but fairly dull to watch.

Molde vs Mlada Boleslav Tip: Under 2.5 goals
