Mohammedan have endured a miserable 2024/25 Indian Super League campaign as they take on a Punjab side looking to finish the regular season with a bit of a flourish in lower-mid-table.

Mohammedan vs Punjab Prediction

With no relegation, Mohammedan have coasted through to a miserable season with elimination from the playoffs sealed early on. They face a Punjab side that have been a lot more competitive but have also failed to finish in the top six and make the end of season playoffs.

Mohammedan, under the management of former India international defender Mehrajuddin Wadoo, have managed just two victories and scored just ten goals in their 23 matches so far this season. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a comfortable 2-0 defeat away to Goa at the Fatorda Stadium last week.

Punjab, on the other hand, have, as mentioned, been slightly more competitive but will finish the season in the bottom-half of the 13-team ISL table. The visitors did recently end what was a three-match losing streak with an impressive 3-1 defeat of Hyderabad away from home at the Gachibowli Stadium the other day.

Mohammedan have not been up to standard this season and despite the inadequacies of the Punjab squad, Panagiotis Dilmperis’ side will be expected to finish the season with three points.
