JOSHUA CULIBAO VS RICARDO RAMOS LOWDOWN

There is a lot riding on this fight in the UFC’s featherweight division for both Joshua Culibao and Ricardo Ramos who have both lost their last two fights.

Culibao (11-3-1) had been working how way up the rankings but has seen decisions go against him in his last two fights against Lerone Murphy and then Danny Silva. He will look to bounce back and will be buoyed by the home support in his native Australia.

Ricardo ‘Carcacinha’ Ramos has also lost his last two fights but both of those came via guillotine chokes highlighting a weakness in his skillset. The Sao Paulo native will be desperate to bounce back and improve his 16-6 record.

JOSHUA CULIBAO VS RICARDO RAMOS PREDICTION

Both of these fighters desperately need a win and it will be interesting to see how this fight develops. The desperation could lead to a highly entertaining fight but it could easily go the other way with both fighters becoming a little more defensive and unwilling to take risks.

We feel the latter is most likely. Carcacinha is arguably the more well-rounded of the two fighters but Culibao has more power in his punch.

With so much on the line however, we expect caution to prevail and can see this fight going the distance. We have a preference for Culibao with home support behind him, but our play here is on the fight going to the scorecards.

PREDICTION: Fight to go the distance
