Millwall vs Ipswich prediction

Millwall come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park as they slide from the top two and the automatic promotion spots, following a 3-1 defeat at home to Hull City. The Lions have now gone winless in three matches since a three-match winning streak in late-November and early-December.

They now face an Ipswich Town side that have started slowly but the Tractor Boys do now begin Boxing Day sitting third in the table and five points behind Middlesbrough. Ipswich recovered from a 3-1 loss to Leicester City by hammering rock-bottom Sheffield Wednesday by three goals to one at Portman Road last weekend.

Ipswich have put in some excellent performances on the road this season and, given the form of the hosts, siding with the Suffolk-based outfit appears the way to go for this one.

Millwall vs Ipswich tip: Ipswich to win & both teams to score
